Grand Log v2.0 — What's New

Grand Log v2.0 is the biggest update we've shipped. It's built around one goal: making it genuinely useful to track long-running anime — the kind with 500+ episodes, multiple seasons, and years of filler.

Arc & Saga Tracker

The headline feature. Every major long-running anime now has a full arc and saga breakdown. Each arc shows you the episode range, episode count, and whether it's canon or filler. You can mark individual arcs as watched to track where you are — no more "what episode does X arc start?" Google searches.

Supported at launch: One Piece (1,100+ episodes across 11 sagas), Naruto & Shippuden, Bleach, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, My Hero Academia, Hunter × Hunter, Fairy Tail, Black Clover, Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Death Note, and more.

Filler Hall of Fame

Filler arcs are a fact of life with long-running anime. Some are worth watching; most aren't. The Filler Hall of Fame flags every filler arc in Grand Log's database with a tag, so you can decide episode-by-episode whether to skip.

One Piece alone has 17 filler arcs totalling 99 episodes. The Filler Hall of Fame makes sure you never waste time on them accidentally.

Watch Streaks

Log an episode, keep your streak. Grand Log now tracks how many consecutive days you've watched something. It sounds simple, but it turns out to be a remarkably effective way to build a consistent watching habit. Real users have hit streaks over 100 days.

Friends & Watch Parties

Find friends by username, see what they're watching, and join Watch Parties to sync your progress with a group. Watch Parties show everyone's current episode in a shared view — perfect for when you and your friends are watching the same show.

Library rebuild

The library got a full rebuild. Filter by status (Watching, Completed, Plan to Watch, Paused, Dropped), search within your own library, and import from AniList, MyAnimeList, or Kitsu. Everything migrated automatically.

Guest browsing

You can now browse the entire anime database — show pages, arc breakdowns, filler tags — without creating an account. Tracking is still account-only, but discovery is now fully open. Share a link to a show's arc breakdown with anyone.
